The smooch of death and some powerful words

The unexpected or unusual use of words can be a day-maker for a writer.

Two examples:

When the kiss of death becomes something else, as in the fifth paragraph of this report on the Tour de France by BikeSnobNYC.

When a visual medium illustrates the power of the written word and a fresh perspective, as in this video that @LoriGama cited in a recent tweet.

That’s two days made.
